MAY-21 Observer

MAY-21 Observer is small tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with vertical take off and landing (VTOL) capabilities. Its structure is made of advanced composite materials, such as CFRP-carbon reinforced polymer matrix composites. We also use additive manufacturing process to produce some components for the UAV. It has 4 electric motors for vertical take off and landing. For cruise flight it has IC engine, it increases flight duration. All systems are controlled by advanced flight controller.

Following systems and capabilities are integrated in one unmanned aerial vehicle:

  • VTOL
  • Hybrid energy system
  • Safe flight termination system
  • Low Drag Design
  • Triple redundant system

UAV has 3 flight modes.

  • Fully autonomous
  • Semi-autonomous
  • Controlled by pilot
